With the 2017 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas coming up, we’re starting to see some of the custom, one-off Ford builds that will be making an appearance at the show – cars like the VMP Performance “Triathlete” Focus RS, or this lowered, Pennzoil-Yellow RS from Universal Technical Institute.
Now, feast your eyes on Rally Innovations’ contribution: the Ford Focus RS “Rally Revival”.
Looking truly race-ready, this 2017 Focus RS features custom Rolotech vinyl graphics laid over a Pekok Autobody body finish, stainless-steel latches from Sparco, Baja Designs off-road lighting, and a full list of Rally Innovations pieces:
- R4S aluminum front, side, and rear splitters
- R4S aluminum rear diffuser
- R4S wheel diverters and mud flaps
- R4S rally wing
Rally Innovations has also fitted the car with the company’s own light plate, and collaborated with Anaheim Rod & Custom on the hood vents.
This custom “Rally Revival” Focus RS backs up its race-ready appearance with plenty of chassis upgrades. The car features an RS-R Sports-i coilover suspension, Eibach sway bars, a Whiteline camber adjustment bushing kit, and DBA USA 4000-series slotted brake rotors. Rally Innovations’ R4S intercooler x-brace sits at the front of the car.
To bolster engine output, the aftermarket company turned to some of the biggest names in the business, installing a Mountune high-flow induction kit with an upgraded intercooler, a 3-inch Borla catted down pipe, and a Ford Performance S-Type cat-back exhaust. The silicone boost and coolant hoses, and the CSF triple-pass high-performance radiator, were also sourced from Mountune, while Cobb Tuning’s Access Port V3 enabled a fresh ECU tune to take full advantage of the upgraded equipment.
Rally Innovations’ “Rally Revival” RS rolls on a set of 19-inch Superturismo GT wheels from OZ Racing, wrapped in Nitto NT01 tires. Inside the cabin, the race-inspired design continues with Autometer Cobalt Series gauges (boost, oil, air/fuel, Pro Shift light), Sparco EVO race seats, a Sparco R353 steering wheel, Rally Innovations R4S interior panels, a rear-seat delete, and a custom Rally Innovations 4-pt. roll cage with HPI 4-pt. harnesses.
The 2017 Ford Focus RS “Rally Revival” from Rally Innovations will debut at the Ford booth at the 2017 SEMA Show. Stay tuned for more SEMA 2017 news as we approach the start of the show on October 31st.
