See The 2019 Lincoln Nautilus In Motion In New Official Video

The Lincoln MKX is soon to be no more, as Ford’s luxury division prepares to launch a refreshed version of the mid-size crossover with a new name: “Nautilus”.

“Nautilus”, if you’ll recall, is a nameplate that we were first introduced to last October, when we discovered a trademark filing from Ford Motor Company. The name effortlessly evokes nice nautical imagery – vast beaches, yachting, and the like – but in fact, it’s shared with a type of mollusc.

Granted, the mollusc borrowed the term from the Latin word for “sailor,” so that manages to salvage some of the nautical imagery.

Whatever it’s named for, the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus is one sharp-looking crossover. Sure, it isn’t drastically different from the existing MKX, but like the refreshed MKC (also introduced very recently), it gains the luxury brand’s new signature grille, a handsome new headlight design, reworked lower grille, and a gorgeous new set of taillights fit for a luxury-mobile.

You’ve likely already seen this in static photographs, but in order to truly appreciate a vehicle’s aesthetics, you really have to see it in motion. The video above shows a 2019 Lincoln Nautilus in exclusive Black Label Gala theme as it rolls along a winding road by the oceanside, letting us take in the new mollusc in its natural setting.

Check it out.

I am looking at the Q5 but i was very happy with my last Lincoln. I’m interested in that Nautilus. We are also looking at a sedan. We are all over the map currently.
