Ford Performance Parts Launch For The European Market

Ford today announced that Ford Performance Parts have officially landed in Europe, bringing heavily-vetted, high-quality, performance-enhancing vehicle parts to fast-Ford fans across the continent. The first wave of 70 Ford Performance parts was revealed at the Essen Motor Show in Germany – essentially that country’s answer to the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in the US – and starting today, they’re all available to order. Next year, the catalog will be expanded to include additional vehicles and still more available parts.

“Ford is synonymous with attainable performance,” says Ford Europe Vehicle Personalization Director Fabio Carafa. “Ford Performance Parts will deliver even more satisfying driving experiences for enthusiasts. Ford Performance customers – some of the most competent and knowledgeable drivers out there – are telling us they want to further personalize the driving dynamics, performance, and style of their vehicles. We’ve specifically developed our Ford Performance Parts portfolio to meet that need.”

The available Euro-market Ford Performance Parts unveiled at Essen today included adjustable coilover and shock absorber kits offering up to 40 mm of reduction in ride height; lightweight, flow-formed alloy wheels that deliver up to a 15-percent reduction in unsprung mass (available for Fiesta/Fiesta ST and Focus/Focus ST); Borla-made stainless steel exhaust systems (both road-legal and track-only versions, for Mustang EcoBoost/Mustang GT); a selection of Ford Performance gearshift knobs available across the range, with suede-like material and carbon fiber; Mustang GT Performance Calibration Power Packs in three different levels; and a Roush/Ford Performance supercharger kit for the Mustang GT.

Ford Performance also showed off the new “Drift Stick” for the Ford Focus RS – the same nifty, digital handbrake device that broke at the 2017 SEMA Show.

“Ford Performance Parts are designed to deliver optimum performance, but also for speedy, hassle-free fitting,” says Carafa.

Customers in Europe who order the new Ford Performance parts can arrange to have them shipped to their place of residence, or straight to their dealer of choice for quick, professional installation.
