The refreshed, 2018 Ford Mustang GT hasn’t been on the market very long at all, yet already, Roush Performance has released a performance axle-back exhaust kit for the pony car’s dual-injected 5.0-liter Coyote V8. Made with mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel tubing with two high-flow mufflers, the system promises to deliver improved flow and reduced back-pressure for better performance, all while the looks and exhaust note get a noticeable boost, as well.
Roush’s axle-back exhaust for the 2018 Ford Mustang GT is priced at $675.99 on the Roush Performance website.
In addition, Roush has also announced a handful of new performance products for the 2017+ Ford F-150 Raptor and the refreshed, 2018 Ford F-150. Offered exclusively for the Raptor is a new Roush/Fox 3.0″ performance suspension system, which replaces the already-very-good factory dampers with an upgraded set. The front dampers have been designed with Fox’s patented internal-bypass technology, and offer adjustable high- and low-speed compression damping. The rears boast finned aluminum external reservoirs, along with a Quick Adjust Bypass (QAB) feature.
The kit is listed at $6,999.99 on Roush’s website. That’s a bit steep, but that should be expected with such impressive levels of performance.
Offered for both the Raptor and the standard F-150 (from 2015 through the present) is a new, 20-inch black wheel design from Roush with stylish, interchangeable rim guards in black and red. Each wheel ships with fitting BFGoodrich KO2 rubber, for a total list price of $799.99 per. Or, if you haven’t got a Raptor, or you fancy a simpler design, there’s another wheel and tire upgrade for 2015-2018 Ford F-150s that pairs a sharp-looking 20-inch black Roush/Mickey Thompson wheel design with Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires. That’s priced at $699.99 per.
Roush Performance’s ever-evolving catalog of performance upgrade parts for the Ford Mustang, F-150, and F-150 Raptor means that Ford fans are never without options to customize the appearance, functionality, and performance of their vehicles.
