The Ford Authority Take

Ford Edge sales continue to decrease, despite a significant shift in consumer demand in the automotive space that favors crossovers like the Edge over other vehicle types, especially sedans. As such, the slide in Edge sales volume in May and in the first five months of 2018 is rather puzzling and concerning to us.

Here’s to seeing the model improve its sales performance in the second half of the year, a feat that might prove tough given that the Edge is about to have a strong new competitor in the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer.
