Watch A 1978 Ford Capri Slice And Dice Its Way Around A Racetrack: Video

If you’re like us, you love and appreciate quality race car driving. We’re delighted to share an example of some nifty driving in a classic Ford. This video shows Emanuele Pirro slicing and dicing his way through a competitive field in a 1978 Ford Capri 3.0S during the 72nd Members’ Meeting at Goodwood. Sit back and enjoy this one.

Emanuele Pirro is an Italian racing driver who has raced in Formula One, as well as endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Pirro has won at Le Mans five times, so it’s fair to say that he’s got some skills behind the wheel of just about anything. This video shows just that, as Pirro takes a 1978 Ford Capri 3.0S for a rip and handily fights his way through some classic competition.

Check out this video if you are a classic car enthusiast, a Ford Capri fanatic, racing fan, or just looking for some entertainment. We particularly enjoy the pass that Pirro pulls off at the 2:30 mark in the video. Pirro dances around an old Camaro, attempts to pass on the outside, then jumps back inside and out-brakes the Chevy to make the pass.
