1992 Mustang GT Convertible Is All Stock And Low Miles

There were a bunch of Fox body Mustangs made back in the day, and the cars are for many people the most popular of all generations right after the original cars through 1970. It seems like each time we find a clean Fox today; it’s almost always a convertible. This 1992 Mustang GT convertible is an all original and unmolested car.

It’s extremely rare to find a Mustang of this vintage that hasn’t been modified. Near as we can tell the only non-stock components for this car are the stereo, battery, and shift knob. The seller claims that the car has only 42,000 original miles on the odometer.

Power is from a 5.0-liter V8 engine, and the car has the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Looking at the images of the outside of the car, we can see no damage at all. The entire car looks very clean and in excellent shape. The car has black leather inside, and it appears to be clean, though it does look as if there are some wear marks on the seats. The seller is asking $19,500 for the 1992 Mustang GT convertible.

Prices on Fox body cars like the 1992 Mustang GT convertible here are on the rise. We have seen some very clean and appealing Fox body Mustangs recently. This Saleen Fox convertible has the engine out of a 2004 Mustang SVT Cobra under the hood.

Recently we talked about a 1983 Mercury Capri, which is a Fox body car and a Mustang twin, that had been Coyote swapped and was ready for the drag strip. The most expensive Fox body ever sold was the 1993 Cobra R that sold for $132,000 with only 500 miles on the odometer and still wearing its factory plastic on the interior.
