Ford Australia has announced some very cool additions for the 2020 Ford Mustang GT. In Australia, the 2020 Mustang GT will get a new Black Shadow Pack for the fastback body style. Adding that package to the car brings a sinister look to the classic muscle car, says chief Program Engineer Carl Widmann.

Widmann says that the Black Shadow adds a “raciness and competition look” to the Mustang GT. The Black Shadow Pack gives the Mustang GT a black roof, hood stripes, side stripes, Grille Pony badge, and 5.0L guard badging. The package also includes 19-inch alloy wheels in black with a 10-spoke design.

The car can also be specified with a black High-Rise rear spoiler. The Black Shadow Pack costs AUD $1,000 (about $701). Aussies will also get some new colors for the 2020 Ford Mustang GT including Grabber Lime, Twister Orange, Iconic Silver, and Red Hot. For 2020 the car also includes a 12.4-inch customizable digital instrument display, and Recaro front seats are available.

The Blue Oval is offering a Ford Service Benefits program that will give service for the new Mustang for four years or 60,000km (about 37,200 miles) for AUD $299 (about $210). Aussies like the Mustang GT a lot; the car was reintroduced to Australia in 2015 and is the best selling sports car in the country for 30 consecutive months.

The Mustang GT is the world’s best selling sports car for 2016, 2017, and 2018. Ford Australia seems poised to continue its sales success with the new options and colors for the 2020 Ford Mustang. The same colors are available in the U.S. We’ve seen some very cool Mustangs from Down Under, like this 1966 Mustang with a turbo straight-six.
