Ford EcoSport Discount Cuts Price By Nearly $5,000 In September 2019

Ford EcoSport sales increased 23 percent to 21,507 units during the second quarter of 2019, results that are in line with an increased demand for crossover utility vehicles. But despite the impressive growth, EcoSport sales volume still trails the segment leaders in a big way. So, in what could be a move to maintain the subcompact crossover’s growth rate in a highly competitive segment, a new Ford EcoSport discount reduces the price of select 2019 models by nearly $5,000 in September 2019.

It’s worth noting that this incentive is nearly identical as the 20 percent discount offered in recent months.

Incentives

Nationwide Ford EcoSport discount offers for September 2019 are as follows:

  • Cash discount: $4,000 Cash Back + $750 Trade Assist = $4,750 Total Discount

Interested parties should note that the above discount is only applicable to vehicles that have arrived at the dealer at least 61 days prior to the sale date. Additionally, the Trade Assist incentive is only available to customers who currently own or lease a 1995 or newer vehicle, and trade that vehicle in or have a lease expiring 30 days prior or 90 days after taking retail delivery. The customer must have owned or leased the vehicle for a minimum of 30 days prior to the sale date of the new vehicle.

For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Ford EcoSport trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the $1,095 destination charge:

  • S – $21,090
  • SE – $24,245
  • Titanium – $27,255
  • SES – $28,370

The headline-making Ford EcoSport discount lowers the starting price of a 2019 EcoSport SE to just $19,495, making it more affordable than a regularly-priced S model. Meanwhile, the $4,750 discount lowers the starting price of Titanium models to $22,505, which is more affordable than a regularly-priced SE model.

Frankie's first favorite car was a 1968 Ford Mustang, and he's had a strong appreciation for the nameplate ever since. Later in his youth he became infatuated with Eleanor, thanks to Nicholas Cage's stellar performance. Frank's a real jokester, too.
