Ford has unveiled a new trim for the Ford Puma called the Ford Puma Titanium X, and it is meant to be the stylish, and high specification version of the Puma. The vehicle will make its first public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany next week. The Ford Puma Titanium X has the same ride height and other features of the Puma line.
Ford has given it some very cool features that are a first, such as removable and washable seat covers to help keep the interior looking like new. The Ford Puma Titanium X is the first Ford to have removable and washable seat covers. Ford says that the covers can be removed easily with one hand. Aftermarket seat cover options will be available for personalization.
Titanium X also offers lumbar massage seats, a segment-first. The feature is operated with a push-button and has a three-bladder massage system with adjustable rolling directions and three levels of intensity. The inflatable bladders also allow the upper, central, and lower seatback contours to be adjusted incrementally for driver and passenger.
Other features include standard hands-free tailgate and a premium B&O Sound system. A wireless smartphone charging pad is under the instrument panel, and the Ford Puma Titanium X has SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system. Ford fits the Titanium X with dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, and rear parking sensors.
The vehicle also features mild-hybrid tech with an 11.5 kW belt-driven integrated starter/generator that can recover energy during braking and send power to a lithium-ion air-cooled battery. Ford Puma Titanium X will be offered in 125PS and 155PS versions. Ford also fits its driver-assist tech with enhanced Road Edge Detection Functionality, adaptive cruise, and more. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
