SEMA is right around the corner, and Ford has unveiled its custom Ranger trucks for the event. One of the custom Ford Ranger trucks is the Ford Performance Parts Ford Ranger. It’s most noticeable feature is a beige and black wrap that has what appear to be vintage photos of Henry Ford on overlanding trips in his early Ford cars.
One of the big features of the Ford Ranger is the Ford Performance-tuned Fox off-road suspension leveling kit. That kit launched for the Ranger and the Ford F-150 not long ago and includes a 2-inch front lift to level the truck out and Fox shocks all around. The Ford Performance Parts Ranger rolls on Ford Performance Ranger Raptor wheels.
To light the way off-road, the Ranger is fitted with a hood-hinge light kit with Rigid DSS-Series lights, a Rigid underbody rock light kit, and a Ridgid 30-inch SR-Series Pro lightbar on the front bumper. A pair of the 6-inch Rigid SR-Series pro lightbars are in the front bumper lower openings, and Rigid D-Series 2×2 LED cube lights in the fog light openings.
Ford Performance also fitted the Ranger with a Warn 9.5 XP winch mounted on a winch capable front number. The truck has Ford Performance by Warn Industries heavy-duty recovery kit and red tow hooks. On top of the RSI Smart Cap bed cover is a Tepui HyBox rooftop tent.
Inside the bed cover is a Decked truck bed storage system, ARB Elements refrigerator-freezer, and ActionTrax recovery boards. No performance features are mentioned, so it appears other than off-road upgrades, the engine is stock with no extra power.
