Steeda Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt Mustang Is The King Of Cool

The Ford Mustang Bullitt returned for the 2019 year model and is coming back for 2020, although it has a higher price tag for 2020. For Steve McQueen fans who want something more exclusive and with higher performance than the normal Ford Mustang Bullitt, the Steeda Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt might be the ticket.

Steeda worked with Steve McQueen’s son, Chad McQueen, to create the Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt, and the car is limited to 300 units produced per year. The special edition car has “substantial” chassis, suspension, and drivetrain upgrades. The car gains a laundry list of suspension upgrades, including front and rear sway bars with welded-in-place solid ends, IRS subframe bushings, special springs, and performance-tuned shocks and struts, among other items.

A power upgrade brings the car to 550 horsepower without resorting to a supercharger or up to 775 horsepower with a Whipple Supercharger. The car also gets a Tri-Ax short-throw shifter, special Steve McQueen Edition Wheels that are shod in Nitto NT555 G2 tires. Several interior upgrades include special door sill plates, a dash serialization plate, and unique floor mats.

Exterior upgrades include a unique front fascia aero package. A number of options can be added to make the car perform better. Recommended options include a rear seat delete kit, a four-point roll cage, and 6-point seat belts. Steeda has several other options available.

2019 and newer Mustang Bullitt owners can have their car converted for $22,995 on top of the cost of the car. Buyers who are ordering a Bullitt Mustang can work with Steeda to have the car delivered directly to one of the four assembly locations Steeda offers. The Steeda Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt is available in North America, Europe, and Australia.
