Ford Discount Cuts Flex Price By $6,000 In November 2019

In what just may be the single largest incentive for the Flex nameplate so far this year, a new Ford discount reduces the price of the full-size wagon-like crossover by as much as $6,000 during the month of November 2019. This means last month’s $5,000 discount is now the second-largest offer of the year. The increase in incentive offerings for the Flex isn’t exactly surprising, as the model will no longer be offered after 2019.

Incentives

Current Ford Flex discount offers in November 2019, based on four major U.S. markets (New York City, Detroit, Miami and Los Angeles), are as follows:

• Cash offer I: $2,500 Customer Cash + $500 Select Inventory Customer Cash + $2,000 Bonus Cash = $5,000 Total Cash Allowance

  • Available in New York City, Miami and Los Angeles markets
• Cash offer II: $2,500 Customer Cash + $500 Select Inventory Customer Cash + $3,000 Bonus Cash = $6,000 Total Cash Allowance
  • Only applicable to in-stock AWD Limited models
  • Available in Detroit market
• Finance offer I: $3,000 Bonus Cash + 0-percent APR for 60 months
  • This Ford Flex discount requires Ford Credit financing and is good thru January 2^nd, 2020
  • Only applicable to in-stock AWD Limited models
  • Available in Detroit market
• Finance offer II: $2,000 Bonus Cash + 1.9 percent APR for 60 months
  • This Ford Flex discount requires Ford Credit financing and is good thru January 2^nd, 2020
  • Only applicable to in-stock AWD Limited models
  • Available in New York City, Miami and Los Angeles markets

Those interested should know that all of the above Ford discount offers are only applicable to range-topping Limited models, with some incentives specifying that the vehicle be equipped with an all-wheel drivetrain.

For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Flex trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, $1,095 destination charge and $645 acquisition fee included:

• SE – $32,315
• SEL -$35,030
• Limited – $40,530

It appears that the November 2019 Ford Flex discount offers are meant to incentivize customers to purchase aged inventory that has been on dealer lots for over two months. As we mentioned previously, the 2019 model year is expected to be the final model year of the Flex.
