Monster EarthRoamer XV-HD Is Built On A Ford F-750

Anyone wanting a camper that can go anywhere will want to look at the EarthRoamer XV-HD. The RV is an absolute beast that costs more than a luxury home at $1.7 million. The EarthRoamer XV-HD is built on a four-wheel-drive Ford F-750 chassis and packs a 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel under the hood that makes 330 horsepower and 725 pound-feet of torque.

The XV-HD is built in Colorado, and the company calls it their most innovative product yet. The beast of a rig is massive at 35 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, and 13.2 feet tall. It rolls on gigantic 46-inch Michelin XVL tires and has 12-inches of ground clearance. The truck has an approach angle of 46 degrees, a departure angle of 23 degrees, and a breakover angle of 12 degrees.

The suspension includes Fox shocks, automatic hydraulic leveling, and a front hydraulic winch that can pull 30,000 pounds. It also has a PTO driven hydraulic winch. The massive chassis carries 115 gallons of diesel, 250 gallons of fresh water, 125 gallons of gray water, and 125 gallons of black water. A lithium-ion battery array can store 20 kWh of power, and the truck has a roof-mounted solar power array that produces 2100 watts. The massive RV is designed to sleep six people.

The images show a very luxurious space for living and hanging out. The interior has a massive couch inside along with a booth-style table. It also has a full bathroom with a separate shower, dry bath, washer/dryer, kitchen, and in-floor radiant heat. EarthRoamer has built and sold three XV-HD RVs since they debuted in 2017 at SEMA, and three more are in production.
