Early Ford Broncos are bringing huge money today with perfectly restored and modified examples commanding well over $100,000. With that in mind, when you see a 1966 Ford Bronco like this for $17,500, it seems like a raging bargain. The 1966 Ford Bronco looks very clean in the photos from a distance.
We’d wager there are a myriad of hidden blemishes that you can’t make out in the video. The seller admits that the floor pans have been replaced in the past, and it looks as if whoever did the work didn’t bother to clean up the welds. It looks in the photos like plain sheet metal was welded in place.
The listed mileage is 70,046 miles; we don’t know if those are original miles. The Bronco does have 4WD and a V8 under the hood. The V8 has an Edelbrock carb attached and needs a good cleaning and new hoses from what we can see. The Bronco has “Alcoa-style wheels” on it. The steering column is a tilt unit, and the shifters are in good condition.
The Bronco does have power steering and a clean title. While the SUV is on eBay as an auction, it is listed as a buy it now for $17,500. The bid is currently $2,000, and the reserve isn’t met. The seller doesn’t say what size the V8 is under the hood or if it is the original motor. The interior is rough and needs a complete restoration. The seats have aftermarket covers on them, and judging from the lumps, the original seats underneath are rough. This might make a solid platform for Bronco fans to start a restoration on.
