Dumb Kid Crashes Dad’s Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R: Video

Before we get into this, be warned that the video embedded below has NSFW language. I’d wager most of us have done something stupid behind the wheel of a car. For most of us, that stupidity came when we were young may not have known any better. Take the kid in this video posted to Facebook. It appears the kid wanted nothing more than to start his dad’s Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R inside the garage and let his friends hear what the beast sounds like.

Where the kid went wrong appears to be in letting his foot off the clutch without placing the car into neutral. Only seconds after the car fires up, it lurches forward, and we can hear it smash into the wall of the garage. The kid then completely loses it, jumping out of the car, bouncing up and down screaming, “I’m f*****g DEAD!”

The video is pretty hilarious, and we almost feel bad for the kid. Things would’ve gone much better for him had he only known that he had to place the manual transmission into neutral before letting off the clutch. We’d assume his father had told him to leave that Mustang alone many times. We rather doubt there’s much damage done to the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R or the garage.

We do wonder what sort of damage the kid’s dad did to him. We’d wager he’s grounded for at least six months and probably never gets to drive again. We rather hope his dad finds the Facebook video embedded above and has a good laugh at the kid’s expense for many years to come. We’ve seen much dumber things done in Mustangs.
