U.S. Ford Motor Company Sales Decrease 1.3 Percent In Fourth Quarter 2019

Ford Motor Company sales decreased 1.3 percent to 601,862 units during the fourth quarter of 2019 in the United States. Sales decreased at the Ford brand, while increased at Lincoln.

Sale types:

  • Cumulative Ford Motor Company sales during Q4 2019 decreased 1.3 percent to 601,862 units
    • Ford did not provide retail vs. fleet breakdown for the quarter, a notable departure from the way it reported previously (on a monthly basis)
  • Ford truck sales closed strong, increasing 15.9 percent for Ford’s best overall Q4 truck sales result since 2001.

    Ford has the the tried and true Coyote V8 which our customers love. Why is it not available as an option on the Explorer ST & Expedition ? I understand mileage is a concern, but the Coyote gets identical mileage to the 3.0 Ecoboost with a much better exhaust note on cold starts.
