Ford Ranger Discount Offers $1,500 Off + Interest-Free Financing In January 2020

Ford Ranger discount offers have been relatively conservative in in months past, with most of the manufacturer incentives topping out at $1,000, as was the case in September and again in November.

That’s no coincidence, given that Ford Ranger sales are quite hot, as the truck became the second best-selling model in its segment during Q4 2019. But now, it appears that Ford has brought back a relatively lucrative offer for select markets that involves a combined offer, including both a cash back rebate and an interest-free offer. To note, we haven’t seen such an offer offered since August 2019.

Ford Ranger Discount Offers

Ford Ranger discount offers vary by market in January 2020. Below, we list the heftiest discounts in four major markets:

• New York City:

  • Buyers can choose between 5.9 percent APR for 84 months or a $500 cashback rebate on any 2019 Ranger model
  • This discount will expire after March 31^st, 2020
• Detroit:
  • Combined offer not available
  • Buyers can choose between 1.9 percent APR for 60 months or a $1,250 cashback rebate on any 2019 Ranger model
  • This discount will expire after February 3^rd, 2020
• Miami
  • Combined offer not available
  • Buyers can choose between 1.9 percent APR for 60 months or a $1,250 cashback rebate on any 2019 Ranger model
  • This discount will expire after March 31^st, 2020
• Los Angeles:
  • 0 percent APR for 60 months + $1,500 trade assist cash for any 2019 Ranger model
  • This discount will expire after March 31^st, 2020

For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Ranger trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the $1,195 destination charge:

• XL – $25,495
• XLT -$29,135
• Lariat – $33,495

The $1,500 Ford discount reduces the starting price of a base Ranger XL to $23,995, while the XLT drops to $27,635, and the Lariat is cut to $31,995. The interest-free financing offer extends the savings by thousands, though the amount depends on the final purchase price.
