Ford has launched the next-generation Explorer SUV for the 2020 model year. The all-new Explorer features a fresh new design, plus the latest technological innovations. Most notably, the new model switches from a front-wheel drive to rear-wheel drive configuration (thanks to the CD6 platform). All-wheel drive remains optional.

When compared to the last-gen, 2019 model, the all-new 2020 Ford Explorer adds six new exterior colors to its color palette: Silver Spruce, Iconic Silver, Atlas Blue, Rich Copper, Rapid Red, and Star White. Here’s our first look at the new Star White Metallic Tricoat hue.

Assigned order code AZ, Star White is one of the only metallic tricoat option available for the 2020 Explorer. It’s worth noting that the hue is the most expensive exterior color option for the new vehicle, and is one of five total metallic colors available.
