Performance truck fans may be glad to hear that Roush has launched its updated 2020 Roush Nitemare and Roush F-150 SC pickups. Both these trucks are supercharged but aim at completely different crowds. The Nitemare is aimed at street performance fans while the F-150 SC is aimed at off-road fans.
We saw the Roush Nitemare go record hunting last year, where the pickup was able to land a record for acceleration. Both Roush pickups are currently available to order. The Nitemare truck has 650 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque from the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine. In regular-cab 4×4 trim, it can reach 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. It also gets custom wheels, and other style touches.
The 2020 Roush F-150 SC is an off-road truck that also features a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 producing the same 650 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque. This truck features a specially Roush-tuned Fox 2.0 off-road suspension system and a Roush cat-back performance exhaust system. It also rolls on custom wheels wrapped in 33-inch off-road tires. The off-road truck also has an optional premium leather interior package and Baja-inspired Chase Rack with dual 10-inch light bars.
Pricing for the 2020 Roush Nitemare starts at $19,150 above the base price of the 2020 F-150 truck. The 2020 Roush F-150 SC starts at $24,000 above the price of the base vehicle. Both trucks come with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty and a unique serialized certificate of authenticity. Both trucks can be ordered and customized right now via the Roush website. With many car shoppers preferring trucks, we wonder if Roush sells more pickups than it does Mustangs today.
