23Red Mustang Has A Cool Red And Black Livery For The 2020 Supercars Season

The 2020 Australian Supercars Series is nearly here, and the teams are showing off their cars and racing liveries for the season. We talked about the expanded partnership between an Aussie tiremaker and DJR Team Penske last week. Now we have a clear look at the 23Red Mustang that will be driven by Will Davidson this season.

The main sponsor for the 23Red Mustang is Milwaukee Racing, with its logo prominently on the sides and front splitter of the car. We also see stickers for other sponsors, including Coca-Cola, The Public Brewery, and Sunday Brewing Co., among others. 23Red’s racing livery is mostly red with black GT stripes on the hood and over the roof. The new livery is different from last year’s livery that was mostly red and white.

A red and white livery was run by 23Red Racing in the first two seasons it competed in Supercars during 2018 and 2019. For 2020 Will Davidson is the driver of the Mustang, and he says that he loves the look of the Milwaukee Racing Ford Mustang. We like the looks too.

The livery is simple but looks very good. Davidson says that the scheme is simple but screams Milwaukee Tools. He also says that the GT stripes give it a classic Mustang look. He thinks it will be one of the best-looking Mustangs on the grid. 23Red had a good season in 2019 scoring podium finishes at Ipswich and The Bend and finishing eighth in the driver’s championship. The team hopes to do better in 2020, and the team expects to win more races.
