Ford Brazil Sales Decrease 11 Percent In January 2020

Ford Brazil sales decreased 11 percent to 14,428 units in January 2020 compared to January 2019 results.

The negative Ford Brazil sales performance in January 2020 was the result of a decrease in sales volume of the automaker’s two best-selling models in the country – Ka and EcoSport. Sales were also negatively impacted by the reduction in the supply of two models – the Fiesta and Focus. Both models saw their regional production cease, and supply dry up as a result.

On the other hand, Mustang sales registered a healthy increase of 27 percent.
