Classic Ford trucks are hot right now with rides like this 1954 Ford F-100 commanding big dollars. This is one of the more expensive customized 1954 Ford F-100 pickups that we’ve seen with the seller asking $95,500. To justify the price, he says that the amount invested was somewhere between $105,000 and $110,000 with an appraised value of $100,000 from an auto appraiser in Nevada.
The truck is said to be new from the frame up, and the vehicle is rated as excellent overall. Every inch of the truck was replaced, rebuilt, or reconditioned during the frame-off restoration, according to the seller. The truck is fitted with a 347 cubic-inch stroker V-8 that has been blueprinted and fitted with Ford Racing valve covers. The transmission is a Ford C4 automatic that has been fitted with a shift kit.
To keep the engine cool the truck has been fitted with a custom radiator with an electric fan and a custom overflow container along with upgraded steel hoses. The exhaust system is custom, and the engine has chrome headers, a chrome alternator, and more. To keep the interior cool the truck has Vintage Air air conditioning with a chrome compressor under the hood. The suspension has been upgraded for better handling, and some of the components are chrome.
The old brakes were replaced with Wilwood disc brakes all around, and the hood is customized. The truck bed is finished and looks as if it was never touched in the same shiny black as the rest of the truck. Inside, the truck has a completely custom interior along with a Pioneer entertainment unit in a custom upper console to keep the dash whole. The truck also rolls on a custom frame. The vehicle is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the seller is asking $95,500. We all know you never get what you put into a custom ride back out of it. That seems like a lot of money, but the truck is beautiful. Check out this Ringbrothers 1956 Ford F-100.
