Anyone lucky enough to own a 2020 Shelby GT500 knows that the car is very fast. We also know that many people don’t want to keep their Mustang stock, even if it is a very expensive and still uncommon 2020 Shelby GT500. Kooks headers are one of the best-known exhaust products for Mustangs and other vehicles. The company has announced exhaust products for the 2020 GT500.

Kooks says that the products are all made from 304 stainless steel for quality and durability. The exhaust products are offered in three stages delivering a personalized level of customization depending on the driver’s needs and wants. The first stage modification is the Header & Connection Kit that includes the new 2 x 3″ GT500 headers, three-inch connection pipes (which are available in both non-catted and Kooks GREENCats versions. The First Stage kit also includes a pair of 3 x 2-3/4″ OEM adapters to the headers using the factory-installed two-bolt clamps. The package also includes header gaskets, oxygen sensor extension harnesses, and all required installation hardware.

Mid-pipes are included with the X-pipe and it has a 3-3/4″ OD outlet that fits the factory exhaust using two-bolt clamps that are included just ahead of the rear axle. Kooks warns that the installation of this part does require cutting the factory exhaust and purchasing the headers in connection pipes.

The company says that the Third Stage kit is expected to launch later this spring. Pricing information is unavailable on any of the products this time. not long ago SCT announced canned tunes for the 2020 GT500.
