It’s interesting to see all of the varied manufacturers and parts that go into making a complete automobile. A new parts supplier for the Mach-E has been identified called TI Fluid Systems, which is a leading global supplier of automotive fluid system technology. The company has recently announced that it is a parts provider for the Ford Mustang Mach-E.
It’s providing thermal management systems for the EV. TI Fluid Systems is providing the air conditioning refrigerant lines for cabin comfort. It’s also supplying lines for the battery chiller. The company is not clear on what materials it makes the components from stating it is using optimized materials for the assemblies.
The company has more than 40 years of experience in the automotive thermal space and says that it has worked directly with Ford’s engineering teams on technical support, best practice design, and product integration. TI Fluid Systems says that it is happy to be working with Ford as it enters the market with the Mach-E and that it looks forward to continuing to support Ford’s future needs.
TI Fluid systems and Ford has a very long history of working together. It began supplying Ford by providing the fuel lines on the first Model T in 1922. Since that time, TI has partnered with hundreds of vehicles with Ford. TI says that it is great to continue building on its 98-year relationship with Ford for supplying fluid handling products. One of the first Mustang Mach-E EVs rolled off the assembly line in Mexico not long ago.
