I took delivery on my Dark Persian Green Metallic 2020 Escape on December 21, 2019! This is not a “new” offering.
The model year, sir, the model year. The color is new for the 2020 model year.
Once more incase that wasn’t clear – this is a new color on the Escape for the 2020 model year. It was not offered on the Escape before the 2020 model year.
This means the previous generation Escape, which ended with the 2019 model year, did not have it.
So, yeah, it’s very much a “new” offering.
