The 2020 Ford Transit adds three new exterior colors to its color palette: Diffused Silver, Kapoor Red, and Agate Black. Here’s our first look at the new Agate Black hue.
Availability
Assigned order code UM, Agate Black is one of seven metallic hues available for the 2020 Ford Transit. Additionally, the new black hue is one of ten total exterior colors available for the full-size van, along with:
- Oxford White
- Race Red
- School Bus Yellow (fleet only)
- Ingot Silver
- Magnetic
- Blue Jeans
- Green Gem
- Diffused Silver
- Kapoor Red
The new Agate Black color is an extra-cost option with a price of $200. It is available on all 2020 Transit trim levels and in conjunction with all interior color combinations.

2020 Ford Transit Launch Timeframe
As of this writing, the 2020 Transit is already available at the retail level, since the Ford Kansas City Assembly plant in Claycomo, Missouri has been churning out the vehicle for the past several months. Models in the Agate Black exterior color are already on dealer lots. Availability varies by dealer, so be sure to check with yours for complete details.
