Ford Fusion Discount Cuts Price By $4,500 In April 2020

A new Ford Fusion discount offers over $4,000 off select models during the month of April 2020. Interestingly, the more generous offer is available for newer models rather than leftover 2019 model year units.

However, prospective buyers should note that the headlining offer is not available nationwide, and appears to be limited to select markets. That said, The Blue Oval is still offering worthwhile deals in other markets, including combined offers that provide both a cashback rebate and special financing. In fact, Ford is offering interest-free financing for all 2020 Fusion models nationwide.

Incentives

Ford Fusion discount offers for April vary by region. We have included the highest featured discounts in four major markets:

  • New York City: $1,500 + 0 percent APR for 60 months for well-qualified buyers who financing with Ford Credit
    • Buyer has the option to defer first 3 payments
    • This offer also available in Detroit and Los Angeles markets
  • Detroit: $4,500 cashback rebate on 2020 Fusion Hybrid models
  • Miami: $2,500 cashback rebate on all 2020 models
    • Excludes Plug-in Titanium models, which receive $2,250 off
  • Los Angeles: $4,500 cashback rebate on 2020 Fusion Hybrid models

Interested parties should note that all of the above offers will remain valid through April 30th, 2020.

For reference, here are the applicable 2020 Fusion trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the $995 destination charge:

  • S – $25,010
  • SE – $26,340
  • Hybrid SE – $29,840
  • SEL -$30,530
  • Hybrid SEL – $33,470
  • Titanium – $36,290
  • Plug-in Titanium Hybrid – $36,840

It’s also worth noting that Ford has previously announced plans to discontinue the Fusion after the 2020 model year in North America. The vehicle will be replaced by a wagon-like vehicle, which we previously spied testing in mule form.
