One of the materials that is commonly used in supercars is Alcantara. The suede-like material is very soft and gives good grip for high-performance driving situations. Ford has used Alcantara in the Mustang before, notably in some seat inserts and on the steering wheel of some high-performance Mustang variants like the GT500. European Mustang owners who want a very attractive interior and don’t mind paying for it can check out what PS-Sattlerei has to offer for custom Mustang interiors inside the PSS Ford Mustang GT-X Edition.
The Mustang the company has is called the PSS Ford Mustang GT-X Edition, and it also has some unique touches on the outside of the car. The significant change comes on the inside with the steering column cover, armrests, shift and hand brake sack, steering wheel, door, and side coverings, and the headliner, including the pillars and sun visors all recovered in Alcantara. The upholstery was also changed to match with quilted seats featuring metallic orange piping that matches the orange exterior of the Mustang.
The seats are covered fully in Alcantara, and the soft material gives the car a very high-end look. The interior also gets several orange carbon fiber parts to match the color scheme. Other than the interior and carbon fiber parts, the car also is fitted with an Edelbrock TVS 2650 supercharger allowing the car to make 725 horsepower. It also has a special exhaust system along with an X-pipe for improved sound and performance.
The wheels used on the car are Schmidt Drago units in 9×20 and 11×20. The wheels were custom painted to match the orange exterior of the Mustang, and the wheels were shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. The car is lowered using KW Variant 3 coilovers. There is no pricing given on the vehicle, but it looks to be expensive.
