Ford Brazil Sales Decrease 77 Percent In April 2020

Ford Brazil sales decreased 77 percent to 4,439 units in April 2020 compared to April 2019 results.

Although all the models that the brand offers in Brazil suffered notable contractions in their sales, the Ford Ranger registered the smallest drop thanks to the all-new Ranger Storm recently launched in the country.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

During the first fourth months of the 2020 calendar year, Ford Brazil sales decreased 28 percent to 48,343 units.

The Ford Authority Take

As expected, the COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacted the entire automotive industry, as well as Ford Brazil sales in April – the first full month of quarantine in the country. The results represent the lowest sales volume in decades.
