Ford EcoSport Discount Cuts Price By Nearly $6,000 In May 2020

A Ford EcoSport discount offers nearly $6,000 off select units of the 2019 EcoSport crossover SUV in May 2020.

Prospective buyers should note that this offer is not available nationwide, and appears to be limited to select regions around the U.S. Ford is also offering other EcoSport deals, including combined offers that provide both a cashback rebate and special financing. In fact, Ford is offering interest-free financing for all 2019 and 2020 EcoSport models.

Ford EcoSport Incentives

Ford EcoSport discount offers for May 2020 vary slightly by region. Below, we have included the highest featured discounts for 2019 and 2020 models in four major U.S. markets:

  • New York City:
    • 2020 EcoSport: $4,250 cashback rebate on all models
    • 2019 EcoSport: $5,750 cashback rebate for 2019 SES and Titanium models only
  • Detroit:
    • 2020 EcoSport: $2,250 cashback rebate on all 2020 models
    • 2019 EcoSport: $3,750 cashback rebate for 2019 SES and Titanium models only
  • Miami:

    • 2020 EcoSport: $4,250 cashback rebate on all 2020 models
    • 2019 EcoSport: $3,750 cashback rebate for 2019 SES and Titanium models only

As these examples show, discounts on 2019 models are roughly $1,500 higher than 2020 models. However, the 2019 model year discounts are only applicable to SES and Titanium models, while discounts for 2020 models do not carry this restriction.

Additionally, interested parties should note some of these Ford EcoSport discount offers are only applicable to vehicles that have arrived at the dealer at least 61 days prior to the sale date.

Since the incentives vary so broadly from market to market, we suggest visiting your preferred dealer for further details.

For reference, we have listed below the starting prices of the 2019 and 2020 Ford EcoSport by trim level and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the $1,095 destination charge and $645 acquisition fee:

  1. This piece of junk is made in a low wage country, yet I have seen 2019 models sticker as high as $27,000. I believe it has that 1.0L 3 cylinder ecoboost that disintegrates in less 50,000 miles in the UK,

    1. I agree. There are so many better subcompact crossovers.

  2. Ford should axe this disaster in the States. With the Broncos, and small Ranger coming out, nobody will buy this.

  3. I purchased a 2019 Ford EcoSport, Titanium, 4X4, model, back in mid-July, 2019. So far, this small SUV has been excellent! The above comments, I do NOT agree with! I hold some Ford stock, and I am fairly certain, that Ford Motor Company will dig out of this darn COVID-19 Pandemic! From there, I see a bright future!!! I especially like the 2020 Ford Escape SE,…with the Turbo 4-cylinder! My Ford Ecosport, has the 4-cylinder engine!
