The Ford Authority Take

Ford Argentina sales decreased significantly in May due to the unfavorable circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the 1,987 units delivered during the month are a significant improvement over the 406 vehicles sold in April, which represented the first full month of stay-at-home orders caused by the coronavirus.

Despite the overall negative result, the Ford Ranger had an outstanding month registering the smallest decrease and becoming the brand’s best-selling model in Argentina during May. In fact, the 831 units of the mid-size pickup allowed it to enter the top five of the country’s best-selling vehicles for the first time ever.
