The Ford Authority Take

The substantial decline in Lincoln Mexico sales in May, the second full month of stay-at-home orders due to the COVID-19 outbreak, represents the luxury brand’s worst performance during the last few years.

In stark contrast to the rest of the models, the new Lincoln Aviator was the only one that presented an uptick in sales volume on a year-over-year basis. This is because the first unit sold for the model in Mexico was in May 2019. However, the 17 deliveries of the Aviator made it the brand’s best-selling in the country in May.
