The long wait for the all-new 14th generation 2021 Ford F-150 is almost over. The 2021 Ford F-150 live reveal is set to take place on Thursday, June 25th, 2020 at 8 pm EDT. We’ve already seen quite a bit of the new F-150, including a shadowy front-end teaser, an uncovered overhead shot, and all sorts of interior and exterior spy photos. But now, it’s time for Ford to pull the covers off completely. We’ve embedded the 2021 Ford F-150 live reveal video below for your viewing pleasure.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the unveiling will take place virtually, which means that the whole world will get to watch it together. Ford has promised something truly game changing as well. “Clear your schedules,” The Blue Oval said. “You’re going to want to see the reveal of the all-new F-150 – the toughest, most productive F-150 ever, and targeted to be the most powerful light duty full-size pickup.”
The 2021 Ford F-150 is expected to represent an all-new version of the popular pickup truck, delivering a complete overhaul by way of a redesign and re-engineering. That includes brand-new sheetmetal, as previously reported by Ford Authority.
The new F-150 will also feature a completely revamped interior with an available digital gauge cluster, an all-new center stack and center console, plus the latest technologies, including the ability to receive over the air updates. The all-new pickup will also come with a new stow-away console shifter and a passenger seat that can fold flat into a bed.
The current F-150’s engine lineup is expected to carry over to the new generation, along with the existing 10-speed automatic transmission. However, a new hybrid-electric model will join the lineup at or close to launch, while an F-150 Electric model will arrive by mid-2022.
We expect the offroad-oriented F-150 Raptor to launch roughly one year after the primary models. Some models will offer an onboard generator, allowing owners to plug in household-type outlets, whether for work or for play.
Order banks for the 2021 Ford F-150 are expected to open on July 15th, 2020 and the truck will commence into production on October 12th at the Ford Dearborn Truck Plant, and November 9th at the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant. The trucks should begin to arrive at dealers shortly thereafter.

I will watch this presentation although I have no present need for any truck. I am interested in the hybrid and electric variants as there are many EV fans who wish to see and hear what Ford’s trucks will offer. Then they will put down their reservation money, as Mustang fans did for the Mach-E.

Agreed. We have two hard-working Ford Lightnings on our farm, and will possibly add to them in mid-2024. I like to watch revelations like this to see “what’s coming next”, whether I need it right now or would just like to have it.
EVs are the future on our farm for non-implement vehicles.
