2021 Lincoln Corsair To Add New Sport Package

The Lincoln Corsair has proven to be a popular model among compact luxury crossover shoppers in recent months. Lincoln has also given the Corsair a number of welcome features and updates recently, starting with the availability of the Monochromatic Package, along with the plug-in hybrid Grand Touring model, which launches later this year. Now, Ford Authority has learned that the 2021 Lincoln Corsair will also receive a new Sport package.

The Sport package for the 2021 Lincoln Corsair comes with a variety of unique features that truly set it apart from current models, as well as the competition. Here’s what the package will include.

  • 20 inch Bright Machined Aluminum Wheels with Magnetic Painted Pockets
  • Front body-color bumper with Painted Lower Fascia
  • Rear body-color bumper
  • Unique Lincoln grille with Black Mesh Upper Grille
  • Illuminated Front Scuff Plates
  • Turbocharged 2.3L Ecoboost I-4 engine producing 295 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque
  • All-wheel-drive

Availability

The Sport package for the 2021 Corsair is optional on Corsair Reserve (Equipment Collections 200A/201A) and Corsair Grand Touring (Equipment Collections 300A/301A). The package is not available with the Exposed Locking Lug Nut Kit (86D), and is only available when ordering All-Wheel Drive (J1D). No photos of the package are available as of this writing.

The 2021 Lincoln Corsair Sport package is being added just as the crossover begins to find its footing after replacing the MKC. The Corsair accounted for 11,133 sales during the first six months of 2020, and the Corsair’s retail share increased to more than 8.5 percent of the premium small SUV segment in Q2.

This, despite the fact that both Ford and Lincoln faced a challenging second quarter in 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic-related shutdowns. Lincoln’s Q2 sales decreased 18 percent to 21,281 units, while Ford sales decreased 33.9 percent to 412,588 units.
