Most of us can only dream of owning something like a Shelby F-150 or a 2020 Shelby GT500, mainly because, well, they aren’t cheap. But a new raffle from Dream Giveaway is giving one lucky person the chance to take not just one of these awesome machines home, but both of them. On top of that, the organization will pay $50,000 towards taxes, so the lucky winner won’t be strapped with some huge bill from Uncle Sam.
The first prize in the giveaway is a 2020 Ford Shelby F-150 Lariat pickup, which is powered by a Whipple supercharged 5.0L Coyote V8 that produces 770 horsepower. Underneath, this pickup has been treated to Fox Raptor-style shocks and a BDS suspension, which makes the Shelby F-150 quite capable off-road as well as on. Throw in a set of 20 inch wheels, 35 inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain K02 tires, and all sorts of cool Shelby styling touches, and this is one seriously sweet pickup.
As if that isn’t enough, the other prize in this raffle needs no introduction, but we’ll give it one anyway. The 2020 Shelby GT500 packs Ford’s supercharged 5.2L Predator V8 that produces 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque. This particular example is well-equipped with the Carbon Fiber Track Package, Technology Package, and vinyl stripes.
Together, these two vehicles sport a combined MSRP of over $200,000, making this raffle a rather enticing offering. On top of that, Dream Giveaway has been licensed by a variety of 501(c)(3) charitable organizations for the purpose of conducting sponsored fundraising promotions. Which means that all donations go to New Beginning Children’s Homes (NBCH), minus the cost of the prizes and other costs associated with the giveaway.
Not a bad way to spend a few bucks, we’d say. And we can only imagine how it would feel to have not one, but two Shelby vehicles delivered to our garage at the same time.
