Ford’s reveal of the all-new, 2021 Ford Bronco on July 13th finally showed the world the all-new off-roader. But the all-new Bronco story is far from over, as The Blue Oval just debuted the 2021 Ford Bronco Fishing Guide Concept.
Announced for the Bronco’s 55th birthday, the Bronco Fishing Guide Concept is officially dubbed a “concept prototype” that aims to demonstrate the SUV’s readiness for customization thanks to over 200 available factory-backed accessories.
Built around the four-door body style in the Outer Banks trim level, the Bronco Fishing Guide concept is purpose-built to support a professional fishing guide. On top, it features a Bestop Sunrider first-row soft top, factory-style (but still concept-level) roof rails and crossbars, as well as a Yakima LockNLoad Platform roof rack.
The concept takes advantage of the Bronco’s fender-mounted trail sights to fit a custom-made fishing pole and seat perch.
Lower into the front fascia, a Ford Performance modular front bumper and safari bar help push through rugged terrain.
At the rear, the Bronco Fishing Guide Concept features a slide-out tailgate that provides a great work surface when repairing fishing rods or stringing up new lures.
Inside, all-weather floor mats and splash guards round out the package.
The concept is joined by the 2021 Ford Bronco Trail Rig Concept designed to be the ultimate trail rider.
The all-new, 2021 Ford Bronco is based on the Ford T6 platform shared with the Ford Ranger midsize pickup truck. The Bronco two- and four-door models will be built at the Ford Michigan Assembly plant, and the very first models should begin arriving at dealers in the Spring of 2021. As of this writing, Ford has officially garnered over 165,000 reservations for the two-door and four-door Bronco models.
