2021 model year Ford and Lincoln models are on their way, and we’re learning more about the various changes coming to them. The latest is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair, which we recently learned will be available with a new Sport package. Now, Ford Authority has learned that the 2021 Corsair will gain a front and rear camera washer as well.
The front and rear camera washer feature will operated by a nozzle that‘s typically recessed or hidden. It then pops out to wash the cameras with a high-pressure stream taken from the wiper washer fluid reservoir. As of right now, the only other vehicle from the automaker that offers something similar is the Lincoln Continental, which features a camera washer for the front camera. However, the Continental will be discontinued following the 2020 model year.
The front and rear camera washer will be included in the Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus Package for the 2021 Lincoln Corsair, which is new for the 2021 model year. The package will be available on Corsair (101A), Corsair Reserve (200A), and Corsair Grand Touring (300A) models. It is standard for the Corsair Reserve I (201A) and Corsair Grand Touring (301A).
Here’s what the package will include:
- 360 Degree Camera with Front and Rear Camera Washer
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Traffic Jam Assist
- Stop-and-Go
- Lane Centering
- Speed Sign Recognition
- Active Park Assist Plus
- Evasive Steering Assist
- Forward Sensing System
- Reverse Brake Assist
The Lincoln Corsair is finding its footing after replacing the MKC in the luxury crossover C-segment. Corsair sales totaled 5,463 units during Q2 2020, slightly lower than the 5,956 deliveries posted by its predecessor in Q2 2019. The Corsair also saw an 8.5 percent retail share of the small premium SUV segment in Q2.

Wow What Lincoln really should be working on is a 1st Class Luxury Sedan FlagShip for the company. If FORD can Brand Mustang Lincoln should do the same with Continental. The problem is Lincoln is to dam Quick dressing up Ford SUV,s and slapping Lincoln badges on them, Lincoln can never be a true Luxury Brand will always live in the shadow of FORD
I agree!
As long as lincoln make their vehicles different in side and out useing ford excellent platform is simply good business sense after all that what all other car companies do when haveing a up market brand.bmw/mercedes and other higher brands use only a starded basic platform with modifications for there more powerful viechels and they don’t even look that special.
