The Ford Authority Take

After five consecutive months of growth, Lincoln Korea sales declined in July. The change is the result of lower sales volumes of the Nautilus and Aviator models, which we imagine is due to sub-par availability of the models in South Korea. Still, both crossovers are primarily responsible for Lincoln’s strong sales growth in the first seven months of the year.

Lincoln MKZ

The MKZ was the only Lincoln model to show an increase in sales, becoming the brand’s best-selling model in July with 81 deliveries. The circumstance represents an anomaly, since the MKZ is typically far from Linc’s best-selling model in any market, South Korea included. Adding more irony to the situation is that production of the midsize sedan recently came to an end in North America.
