Marriott Offering Exclusive Luxury Road Trips In The U.S. And Europe

In a world of constant change, one thing that hasn’t wavered is our love affair with the classic road trip. There’s nothing better than getting out and exploring the many miles of road the world has to offer in a cool car, soaking in the best scenery nature could come up with. Now, hotel maven Marriott is offering up a new and interesting way to partake in these adventures with curated luxury road trips in parts of the U.S. and Europe.

Marriott has teamed up with concierge company Quintessentially to offer these unique experiences, which are available to book now. Travelers can choose from a number of itineraries and experiences, all of which offer bespoke escapes with luxurious accommodations, top notch service, culinary experiences, outdoor adventures, and of course, lots of scenery to take in along the way.

“During this time we know that many of our guests are choosing to travel in different ways. They might be staying closer to home, or seeking the personal space that driving between destinations affords,” said Tina Edmundson, Global Brand and Marketing Officer and Luxury Portfolio Leader, Marriott International. “With this series of exclusive road trips, and with the expertise of Quintessentially, we are thrilled to be able to offer our guests access to unparalleled, luxury focused experiences that meet the moment.”

The scope of these luxury road trips varies greatly, and includes everything from enjoying a champagne toast in a private seaplane overlooking the San Francisco sunset to taking surfing lessons with a world surfing competitor in Half Moon Bay, or a private tour of the exclusive Palazzo Corsini or Sistine Chapel in Rome. Even better, buyers have access to a series of vintage cars, including a 1960s model Ford Mustang convertible.

These luxury road trips are available at prices starting at $15,000, and can be booked directly through Quintessentially’s site.

I think this is a fabulous idea! I went to the website to see pricing, which is fairly expensive, but I see the value of a vacation like this. The only drawback I saw was “a Mustang “or similar” car”. If a person is paying out this much $$$$ you should be guaranteed the car you expect in the description.
When just renting a car at the airport, I rent an Escape or similar and they give me a Kia Soul or similar. I have come to accept that I won’t likely get the car I chose online. But when we are talking 15k+ you better give me what I am expecting.
But again, great idea if you are a road trip kind of person, which I am 😎
