Roush Performance has been tuning the Ford Mustang for many years now, and has become a rather popular maker and seller of performance parts and vehicles in that time frame. In terms of the tuner’s top pony car offerings, the Roush Stage 3 Mustang slots below only the very special Jack Roush Edition in the overall hierarchy of things. And now, one lucky person is going to get the chance to win one of these cars via a new online raffle.
The raffle is being held to raise funds for Fair Lane, Henry and Clara Ford’s former estate, which has since become a historical landmark that aims to preserve their legacy. And it’s a very special prize, without a doubt. The one-of-one Roush Stage 3 Mustang has a host of unique features including carbon fiber mirror caps, a one-off shift knob, Fair-Lane branded seats and door sills, and the signatures of Jack Roush Sr. and Edsel B. Ford II.
Those touches, plus a one-of-one serial dash plaque, make this a very unique vehicle. But like all other Stage 3 Roush Mustangs, it also comes packing a host of performance and appearance upgrades. That starts under the hood, where Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8 has been treated to a Roush supercharger to deliver 750 horsepower and 670 pound-feet of torque.
The extra juice is good enough to propel the Roush Stage 3 Mustang from 0-60 in just 3.6 seconds, with a quarter-mile time of 11.2 seconds. Buyers generally have their choice of an MT-82 six-speed manual transmission or Ford’s 10-speed automatic, but this particular car is equipped with the manual. The engine breathes through a Roush exhaust, and the company gives the car’s Magneride suspension its own special tune to help it better grip the road.
The Stage 3 has a unique look as well, thanks to a piano-black front fascia, rear spoiler, unique Roush wheels, and ultra high-performance Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires. Inside, the car has been treated to unique leather with an attractive diamond stitch pattern and Roush embroidery on the seats.
Raffle tickets cost $10 and support the ongoing restoration at Fair Lane. Those interesting in throwing their name in the hat for this awesome ride while supporting a great cause can do so by heading over here.
We’ll have more cool cars and raffles to share very soon, so be sure to subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Mustang news and around-the-clock Ford news coverage.
