The Ford Authority Take

Ford Brazil sales continued their negative trend in August, registering a drop. In fact, the negative trend has taken place during each of the first eight months of year.

Like many other automakers, Ford has not yet recovered from the various effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused a considerable drop in demand for automobiles in Brazil.

The Ford Ka is the brand’s best-selling model in Brazil

In August, all Ford models saw declines in sales volume in the Brazilian market. And unlike impressive levels of performance in previous months, the Ford Ranger lost momentum in August, posting a double-digit drop like rest of Ford vehicle lineup offered in the country.
