Depending on how long we keep our new vehicles and how much we drive them, maintenance can be either relatively inexpensive or quite a bit costly. But those who purchase a new Ford Ranger Raptor in the Philippines this month won’t have to worry about maintenance costs, at least for the first five years of ownership. That’s because Ford is including its Ranger Raptor Premium Care package with every Ford Ranger Raptor purchase now through September 30th.
The Ranger Raptor Premium Care package is quite comprehensive, as it includes a free 5-year or 50,000 kilometer scheduled service maintenance package (SSP), a 5-year or 150,000 kilometer vehicle warranty (additional 2-year extended warranty plus the standard 3-year warranty), and 5-year emergency roadside assistance (ERA).
When owners bring in their pickups for periodic maintenance during the coverage period, they won’t have to pay for parts of labor. Meanwhile, the extended warranty covers parts and labor involved in the repair of components including the engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension, to name a few.
Finally, the 5-year ERA is a 24/7 roadside assistance program that provides help for owners who find themselves stranded. This coverage also includes additional perks like unlimited mileage for towing to the nearest dealership, up to P5,000 ($103) in coverage for misfueling, 5 free liters of emergency fuel delivery, and up to P10,000 ($206) for journey continuation and P20,000 ($411) in medical coverage. Ford says the total value of the package is P100,000 ($2,057).
“Ranger Raptor Premium Care is the first-of-its-kind program available in the market today. With this innovation, we continue to enhance the Ford ownership experience by giving customers a worry-free package with their Ranger Raptor pickup truck for the next five years,” said PK Umashankar, managing director, Ford Philippines.
