Rare Bold Orange 1974 Ford Bronco Is One Of Just 264 Produced

Most any classic Ford Bronco brings big money these days, but some are obviously rarer than others. Take the U13 Roadster, for example, which was built in very small numbers compared to its SUV counterpart. Then there are options and colors to consider, and this Bold Orange 1974 Ford Bronco up for sale at JamesEdition sports a rather rare color combination, which undoubtedly drives up the price just a little.

According to the seller, this 1974 Ford Bronco and its Bold Orange exterior and Ginger Ranger interior makes it one of just 264 produced in that interesting combination. Better yet, it’s been restored from the ground up, leaving the classic SUV in tremendous condition today. Of course, that means it’s also selling for a premium – in this case, $59,750.

We doubt that whoever pays that high price will be disappointed, however, as this is one striking old SUV to look at. It’s also powered by Ford’s 302 cubic-inch V8, which is mated to an automatic transmission, which helps the value, and has only traveled 209 miles since the frame-off restoration was completed.

The classic Bronco is equipped with other desirable options including power steering, a left hand chrome side mirror, a 55 amp heavy-duty alternator, extra cooling radiator, and 70 amp battery. It comes complete with a full Marti Report, which documents all of these goodies as original and correct, as well as that rare exterior/interior color combination.

Considering the cost of the restoration and the prices of first-gen Ford Broncos these days, we actually think that this gem is a pretty good value. After all, there are plenty of other ones out there going for well over six figures. So if you appreciate an original, uncut, and rather rare classic Bronco, this one’s sure to please.
