Ford Reveals Bronco Overland Concept At Bronco Super Celebration East

The Bronco Super Celebration East just kicked off this week in Townsend, Tennessee, and Ford brought along something extra special to mark the occasion – a brand new, heavily-accessorized 2021 Ford Bronco dubbed the Bronco Overland Concept.

Packed with personalization and factory-backed accessories from Ford’s all-new outdoor brand, the Bronco Overland Concept showcases how the all-new Bronco two-door, four-door, and Bronco Sport models are designed to help redefine the next generation of off-road vehicles.

The Bronco Overland Concept is based on a 2021 Badlands four-door model finished in Area 51 paint. The concept is equipped with The Blue Oval’s High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.) System with Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, Ford’s 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 with the class-exclusive seven-speed manual transmission, 17 inch Asphalt Black Fifteen52 Turbomatic heavy-duty wheels, and 35 inch BFGoodrich LT315/70R17 mud-terrain KM3 tires.

Up front, the Bronco Overlander Concept features a Warn/Ford Performance winch mounted to a Ford Performance modular steel bumper. A heavy-duty two-person tent from Yakima and a factory roof rack are mounted to the roof rails with a 1×40 Rigid rack-mounted light bar and six additional Rigid POD lights in a 360 configuration for improved lighting all around. Out back, a tall CB antenna is mounted to the rear bumper.

The rear is set up to be the center of any good overlanding basecamp, and includes an ARB refrigerator, cooking kit, and stove mounted to a cargo management system. The refrigerator has a slide-out tray for easy access, while a tailgate table and chairs complete the campsite. The rear quarter window glass has rigid panels with MOLLE grids mounted inside for additional rear cargo area storage.

The Bronco Overland Concept will be on display at the Bronco Super Celebration East, which takes place October 7th-10th, alongside the all-new Ford Bronco two-door and Bronco Sport models to give fans a chance to see the only domestic all-4×4 family of off-road SUVs in the flesh.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. Those are Fifteen52 TraverseHD rims 17×8.5 with a 6×135 bolt pattern. You have them as the Turbomatic (nee’ Turbomac), which is a similar 5 spoke design.
