Listen To The Hennessey F-150 HPE750 Sing Its Vicious Song: Video

Those that want to coax ridiculous amounts of power from their Ford F-150 pickups have plenty of options to choose from. That includes a variety of packages from Hennessey Performance, of course. One of our personal favorites is the F-150 HPE750, which is based on trucks packing Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8. But aside from just being fast, the F-150 HPE750 also sounds absolutely wicked, as we can hear in this video from the Texas-based tuner.

The Coyote responds incredibly well to forced induction, a fact clearly on display with the HPE750. Hennessey fits the trucks with a 2.9L Whipple supercharger, a fuel system upgrade, cat-back exhaust, air-to-water intercooler, a high-flow air induction system, and custom calibration to extract a full 757 horsepower from the latest 5.0.

From there, customers can opt for two different looks – a sport kit or off-road upgrade. The former includes a lowering kit, sway bars, Brembo brakes, and 20 inch wheels and tires. Opting for the off-road look means a six-inch lift, 20 inch wheels and 35 inch tires, and beefy Hennessey bumpers. Either way, the F-150 HPE750 also comes with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty for a little peace of mind.

That means owners can rip it, which is precisely what we would want to do over and over again, as good as this truck sounds. No offense to the F-150 Raptor and its powerful 3.5L EcoBoost V6, but it just doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as a proper V8. The Hennessey F-150 also has more than enough power to kick the tail out anytime the desire hits, which is always fun.

There isn’t necessarily a point in owning a 750 horsepower truck, but perhaps that is the point. These things are simply good old fashioned fun to drive (and listen to), and sometimes, that’s all that really matters.
