Mustang Mach-E Gets Five Years Of Free FordPass Access In Europe

Buyers of the new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E in Europe will get complementary access to two charging networks, Ford of Europe recently announced.

Specifically, Euro-market Mach-E models will get five years of free access to the FordPass Charging Network. Additionally, FoMoCo will include one year of complementary access to the IONITY network with the Mustang Mach-E purchase. The IONITY network provides access to charging points from Sicily to Finland. And with 150 kW charge rates, the network allows the Mach-E to gain over 70 miles of range in a mere 10 minutes of charging.

Outside of the charging infrastructure access, the European-market Mach-E is essentially identical to its American counterpart. The standard model will offer a maximum range of 335 miles for the model with all-wheel-drive and the extended-range battery. This configuration can do 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in 5.1 seconds, marching the performance of the Tesla Model Y Long Range.

Meanwhile, the Mach-E GT will make an impressive 459 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque. The massive power and AWD system will enable the GT to sprint from zero to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds, making the electrified pony the fastest-accelerating vehicle in its class in Europe.

Max range for the Mach-E GT set at 310 miles, or right around 500 km. The range-topping model also comes equipped with MagneRide suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels, and red-painted brake calipers, all as standard.

And for those wondering, the Euro-market Mach-E GT will also be available in both Grabber Blue and Cyber Orange colors, arguably two of the most noticeable colors Ford has ever produced.
