SCA Performance Black Widow Ford F-250 Lands In Australia: Video

SCA Performance has been building modified, lifted Ford trucks in the U.S. for years now. Meanwhile, folks in Australia have been left out in the cold a bit, forced to pay hefty premiums for any sort of full-size pickup, as well as jump through proverbial hoops to get one. But now, Aussie truck buyers can get the same SCA Performance Black Widow Ford F-250 Super Duty as Americans at least, albeit for a price.

The trucks are being imported and sold by Tough Trucks, which is SCA’s Australian distributor. Bringing home this mammoth Black Widow Ford F-250 isn’t an inexpensive endeavor, as it sports a price tag of $198,000 AUS ($139,425 USD), but at least it is a lot of truck for the money. And as Tough Trucks points out, it can be written off for tax purposes, so there’s that.

Buyers are getting a truck that’s compliant and road legal in the country, albeit rather massive. Much of that comes from a four-inch suspension lift and 20-inch SCA Black Widow wheels, which are wrapped with 37-inch mud- or all-terrain tires. Additional goodies include Black Widow badges, gauges, and embroidered headrests, as well as painted factory bumpers and front grille and Bushwacker fender flares.

The Black Widow Ford Super Duty is outfitted with the Sport Appearance Package and Trailer Tow Package, as well as Ford’s 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbodiesel and 10-speed automatic transmission. It’s a nicely equipped pickup for sure, with just the right amount of visual upgrades to take the Super Duty to a whole new level in that regard.

For those that want more, SCA also offers optional upgrades including Fox coilovers and/or rear shocks, a Fox steering stabilizer, color-matched hard tonneau cover, and a spray-in bedliner. It’s a nice and complete package regardless, albeit one that Australian buyers will pay considerably more than American buyers.
