Shortly after the 2021 Ford Bronco was revealed in July, reservation holders received a bit of bad news – the First Edition would only be available with a Navy Pier interior, a color combination quite a few folks weren’t fans of. After people expressed their opinion on the matter, however, Ford changed course earlier this month and announced that in addition to the Bronco First Edition Navy Pier interior, buyers would also be able to choose black threads instead.
However, until now, we hadn’t seen any real-life photos of what the Bronco First Edition Navy Pier interior looks like – only computer-generated simulations. But now, Bronco Nation has acquired the very first such pictures of the blue and gray two-tone treatment, which gives buyers a much better look at what they can expect in their own Ford Bronco when it arrives starting next summer.
Judging by the reactions to the photos thus far, it seems like quite a few folks believe that the Navy Pier interior looks much better in real life than it did in those earlier computer-generated images. Or, at the very least, they don’t decidedly hate it, as was the case before. Regardless, at least the ones that still don’t care for the look aren’t stuck with it now.
The 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition proved to be a massive hit when reservations opened up during the new SUV’s reveal, and all 3,500 examples were spoken for within hours. Demand was so great, in fact, that Ford decided to double the number of First Editions it would build, making it an even 7,000.
The First Edition represents the ultimate trim level, combining all the Bronco’s best features and options in one package. For a base price of $59,305, the First Edition Bronco comes standard with virtually every available option including the Sasquatch Package, Lux Package, and Ford’s 2.7L EcoBoost V6.
The First Edition also wears some unique touches that aren’t present on other trims. On the exterior, those include a First Edition hood and bodyside graphics, as well as a Shadow Black painted modular hard top with a matching grille and side mirror caps, though the latter is now a late-availability option.
We’ll have more on the 2021 Bronco soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
