The Ford Authority Take

As was the case during all months of the 2020 calendar year, Ford Brazil sales decreased significantly in November. The performance represents a slight improvement compared to October’s figures, but falls short of the 4 percent gain that the overall Brazilian automotive market had last month.

Ford’s two most popular models in Brazil – the Ka and EcoSport – suffered significant, double-digit  losses, accounting for Ford’s primary volume loss in November. By contrast, the Ford Ranger was the only model that saw an uptick in sales, managing to improve its competitive position in the midsize pickup segment.

Meanwhile, the recently-launched Ford Territory lost some momentum in its third month on sale in the Brazilian market, dropping from 332 units in October to 273 deliveries in November.
